Are You satisfied with HfL – Urgent DeadlineThe 2019 HfL Shareholder Satisfaction survey to Hertfordshire Chairs is now available to complete online with a deadline of 24th May!
As you may be aware, HfL sent details of the survey out to the Chairs of the 520 shareholding schools on 1st May 2019 and the HfL governance team have since been following up with Chairs since to encourage engagement. The new Governance Handbook sets out the roles, functions and legal duties of governing boards in maintained schools, academies and multi-academy trusts. It also describes the main features of effective governance and where governing boards can find support. Managing Change Governors Conference 2018With the theme of ‘School Leaders Managing Change’, Herts for Learning (HfL) was delighted to welcome over 200 governors to the 2018 Hertfordshire Governors’ Conference on Saturday 17th November. Delegates enjoyed a comprehensive conference programme jointly put together by the HfL Governance Services team and the Hertfordshire Association of School Governors (HASG).
