Only weeks left to nominate for Governors Awards

The closing date for nominations for the Governor Award scheme is 31st May 2022.

To nominate somebody, please click here to fill in the online form.

The HASG would like to take this opportunity to clarify the following (which differs from the original criteria):

  • Nominations can be received from any school/academy in Hertfordshire – we would like to celebrate great governors from all schools
  • School prizes can only be paid to those who are a member of the HASG

As usual, the Winners of the Hertfordshire Outstanding Governor Awards were presented at the Governors Annual Conference – this year on Saturday 16th November 2019 at Robertson House Stevenage. Because of the strength of the field this year the Awards committee agreed an additional Runner-Up and also an additional Award to a Special School Governor. With the theme of ‘School Leaders Managing Change’, Herts for Learning (HfL) was delighted to welcome over 200 governors to the 2018 Hertfordshire Governors’ Conference on Saturday 17th November.  Delegates enjoyed a comprehensive conference programme jointly put together by the HfL Governance Services team and the Hertfordshire Association of School Governors (HASG).
